The Doryanthes palmeri is a beautiful large Australian native lily that grows in a solitary patch along the East Coast, in Queensland and New South Wales. The giant spear lily is a large-leaved lily with bright green sword-like foliage that grows in rosettes. It only flowers once, and the result is a massive red flower head on a long stalk. The plant may take many years to attain flowering maturity, but the wait is worthwhile. What a gorgeous tree!

My Fiddly Fig has finally decided to have it's last tantrum - nothing made it happy and all the research and care I put into it came to nothing. Of all my plants, it is the most demanding. I ordered the Banyan Tree and it's tall! The bark is a beautiful silver and the leaves are strong - it is such a healthy, majestic plant. Hopefully the fiddly fig ups its game now there's a contender for my affections in the house (but knowing the fiddly fig, it'll probably drop another leaf in protest). Thank you for such a healthy, beautiful plant, sorry, tree! :)

Happy Plant, Happy Customer
