  • Description: The Tulip Tree is a large deciduous tree that can grow up to 20-30 meters tall and 8-15 meters wide. It has a pyramidal shape with a straight trunk and a broad crown. The leaves are large, bright green, and shaped like tulips with four lobes. In autumn, they turn yellow and golden.
  • Growing Requirements: The Tulip Tree prefers well-drained soil that is slightly acidic and fertile. It can tolerate most soils but does not do well in waterlogged or compacted soils. It requires full sun to grow well and can tolerate partial shade.
  • Uses and Display: The Tulip Tree produces large yellowish-green flowers in spring that resemble tulips, hence its name.
