Escallonia diminutive with glossy, tiny, dark green leaves and profusions of clustered pink blooms from summer to fall. Due of its tolerance for salt-laden winds, this plant is a great choice for hedges and coastal gardens. Plant separation: 20–30 cm. grows to a height and width of around 50 cm. Excellent butterfly and bee attractor. prefers well-drained, compost-rich soil, but is tolerant of all types. After flowering, prune lightly, however it can also withstand severe pruning.
