Clivia are extremely popular landscaping plants because they are minimal maintenance. They also make a great indoor plant requiring bright indirect sun. Direct sun can burn the leaves. They have lush green strappy leaves and gorgeous brightly coloured flowers. They look their best when mass planted. The plant flowers best when root bound in the pot.
Clivia minata can tolerate poor soil but performs best if compost is added. Remove dead flowers and leaves.
