The Lavender - Spanish/Italian Lavandula stoechas is a little, fragrant shrub with grey-green leaves that is evergreen. This "Avonview" variety, sometimes known as Italian lavender, reaches heights of about 80 cm and a width of 60 cm. The fragrant purple blooms start to bloom in the spring and last all the way through the summer. Very adaptable; use as a hedge, in containers, in tiny gardens, and in dry, hot places. tolerates dry spells, frost, and seaside conditions. Hedge plant spacing is 40 cm apart. After flowering, prune to keep the plant's form.
