Ficus pumila 'Frosty' is a strong, quick-growing creeper with lovely green and white variegated foliage that can sustain itself. Will quickly cover walls but may also loosen roof tiles and harm wooden fences. To prevent less appealing mature leaves, prune frequently. Make sure your area has not designated it as an environmental weed. It is best to grow plants in wet, well-drained soil that receives full sun to part shade. Position in a frost-free area and shelter from wind are required. Wear a face mask, goggles, and skin protection when pruning because sap and dust can irritate the skin.
Ficus plants have extremely invasive roots so, in urban gardens, it is strongly advisable to keep them in pots or containers rather than planting them in the ground.
