Dracaena In warmer climates, Black Knight can be grown outside, although it is primarily grown indoors everywhere else. The tall, soft-tipped foliage of Black Knight is green while young and turns purple as it ages. When grown, stems branch to create a spreading, vase-shaped tree. Yellow-orange berries appear after the little, fragrant flowers. If grown inside, neither of those results.
