The Blueberry Ash (Elaeocarpus reticulatus) is a stunning evergreen native tree known for its graceful foliage, delicate pink or white bell-shaped flowers, and striking blue berries. It has a narrow, upright growth habit, reaching 6m – 10m in height, making it an excellent choice for smaller gardens, streetscapes, and hedging. The lush glossy green leaves often develop bronze or red tones when young, adding year-round interest.
During spring and summer, it produces pendulous clusters of fringed, star-like flowers, followed by vibrant blue berries in autumn that attract native birds, including parrots and pigeons.
